i agree spookymufu and that was a great movie

yeah, the original salem's lot mini-series by tobe hooper (of texas chainsaw fame) was very scary for me as a young kid in the late 70s like you all, the young vampire at the window (an undead ralphie glick) haunted me for years it was also a much better production than the 2004 tnt version with rob lowe although the latter followed the novel more closely i have the newer mini-series on dvd, too salem's lot is by far one of my favorite novels i have read it many times and it's always fun

it's another 3-day weekend because of columbus day and i just got in from work my trick r treat dvd arrived in the mail yesterday i just popped it in the dvd player and sat down with a bag of bite-sized twix candy bars

my trick r treat dvd arrived last night and i just finished watching LOVED IT great storyline, wonderfully cyclical and pagan SAMhain

i plan to watch that classic this week

i hadn't seen it since i was a kid it definitely didn't have the same effect unlike it's the great pumpkin, charlie brown, which will always be an oldie and a goodie
