I've decided to roll out my spring break moviethon again this year...
It's still a bit cold with occasional snow here in Washington, DC...
But we're just two short weeks away from spring break...
And I'm ready to get this show on the road trip

Fun idea! Tell me if you like Hail, Caesar.
I am watching a Hunger Games marathon on DVD, so I'll be ready to watch the last one later this month.

It was a fun movie, but not something I'd watch again...
much less watch again on the big screen a second time...
which is my personal gold standard for movie greatness

Watching the James Bond movie Spectre, after seeing it in the theater, I had to buy it. Imho it's one of the three or four best of all the Bond movies. A good plot, strong supporting cast, nice gadgets and things going boom. Read this might be Craigs last role, and if it is he went out on a good one.

The best movies are the ones that go fast and blow up.

YES, I enjoyed Spectre too! Didn't have the gritty realism of Craig's previous Bond films, but definitely brought back the magical formula of earlier Bond movies going back to the beginning. As a longtime 007 fan, Daniel Craig is my second favorite Bond after Sean Connery. Craig, unlike Connery, is actually the closest representation of the Bond character found in the original Fleming novels

I agree -- if this is Craig's last Bond film, he went out well... That final scene at Whitehall is iconic! My personal choice for his relief in the Bond role is someone rarely mentioned: British-American actor JJ Field who currently stars as another suave British spymaster, Major John Andre during the American Revolution in AMC's amazing series Turn: Washington's Spies about the Culper Ring in New York. He's starred in many other roles, including as an action hero in the original Captain America movie. When the times comes, I'm simply hoping EON makea a wise choice

I'm a Connery fan too.
My favorite Bond flicks were: Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun and now Spectre.
I don't know how accurate the stories are I've been reading, but the political correctness monster is attacking the James Bond world too. There are demands that the new Bond must be gay, black or a woman, or protests will follow.

I'm all for equality, but Bond is simply entertainment/fantasy -- I see no need to change a winning formula...
Craig's Bond films are amazing! Wish they hadn't killed off Mathis in Quantum of Solace, my least favorite...
Craig's Casino Royale incorporated many elements of original Ian Fleming Bond novel of the same title
