There are some great horror stories surrounding the Bell Witch... Have you seen the movie An American Haunting? It gives a somewhat Hollywood tainted version of the Bell Witch story. If you're really into hauntings and lore, I'd probably stay away from the movie, though. I didn't really feel like it did the stories justice...

I'd write more thoughts on the Bell Witch, but I cannot recall much of what I read about her a couple years ago. I do seem to vaguely recall thinking the whole story was bologna.

Never heard of the Bell Witch. Is it similar to the Blair Witch? I'll have to google and see what comes up.

I was in Adams, Tn. last July to visit the Bell Witch Museum and the Bell Witch caves. The people around there certainly believe the story is real.
