i've been out of the loop for a few weeks :( started my student teaching, and that's going well but keeping me extremely busy :shock: i haven't had a chance to watch another horror film since :cry: however, i just pre-ordered a dvd copy of trick r treat on amazon :D

hope you're all well :wink: it's great to be back in halloweenland :mrgreen:

thanks, y'all :wink: it's great to be back :D tonight, i'm going to see howard dean speak at the 92Y :D and with the jewish holiday, we'll have a 3-day weekend, so that means i'll have time to begin watching horror movies again :twisted: all of the stores here have their halloween stuff out, so i'm getting in the mood :mrgreen: hope you're all well 8)

Oooh ohhh ohhh!!! I LOVE HOWARD DEAN!!! Where are you going to hear him speak??

I was pulling my hair out when Obama passed him over for HHS twice; first for Daschle (and see how well THAT worked out), and then for Sebelius, who is cringe-inducing to watch. I mean, knowing that you're going to spend the year trying to sell health care reform, why wouldn't you go with Dr. Dean, the best spokesperson on health care that the Dems have?!?

And for those of you who don't think this is Halloween related, just remember: If you type "Howard Dean" into a yahoo search engine, the first recommendation that comes up under the search bar is "Scream"..... :?

Yup. As DNC Chairman, he laughed all the way to victory in the Virginia governor's race in 2005, the re-taking of both houses of Congress by the Democrats in 2006, the expansion of the Democratic majority in both houses of Congress in 2008, AND the re-taking of the White House by the Democrats in 2008. I'll tell you one thing; I've been laughing quite a lot for the past three years, thanks to Gov. Dean!! :wink:

mainly, he talked about healthcare reform :D i like howard dean - like a good liberal democrat :lol: seriously though, he is responsible for the great success of obama's campaign last year :arrow: dean implemneted the 50 state strategy for the dnc, and that is what enabled obama to win states like virginia, north carolina, iowa, indiana, nevada, new mexico, colorado, and florida :wink:
